UNC Asheville's New Hall Opening Reception 1-2 p.m. Building Tours Friday, February 24, 2006 New Hall Lobby UNC Asheville’s newest classroom building, New Hall, has just opened for classes. We invite you to celebrate with us this wonderful addition to our campus. The construction of New Hall was funded through the 2000 Statewide Bond Referendum. New Hall is now home to the History, Foreign Languages, Classics, and Philosophy departments, the Women’s Studies, Arts & Ideas, Humanities and Masters of Liberal Arts programs and the Office of Academic Conferences and Institutes. Reserved parking for off-campus guests will be located in the gravel lot adjacent to New Hall. Enter campus at the traffic circle, proceed up the hill, and bear right at the triangle. Take the first left onto University Heights and take the next left into Parking Lot 11. Drive past the back of Belk Theatre to the very end of the parking area and proceed down a small hill; the reserved parking area will be on your right. No R.S.V.P. is necessary. Related Link:
