Texas A&M University - TAMUG/Livestock Judging Here’s what’s happening at Texas A&M University… Texas A&M Galveston – Ocean-based campus offers unique opportunities Howdy! As the end of the 2006-2007 academic year approaches, many of
you have likely found your office full of juniors and seniors frantically
gathering information about the college of their choice. Texas A&M
University at Galveston offers programs focusing on ocean oriented mechanical
or civil engineering, business, biology (pre-med and pre-vet tracks),
transportation and more! Our ocean-based campus allows students the
opportunity to participate in hands-on learning projects that directly
correlate to their degree programs as well as the careers that they
will enter. Texas A&M University at Galveston is still accepting
applications for Fall 2007. If you have a student that might be interested

Department of Animal Science to host Livestock Judging Camp Please publicize this experience to any of your students with an interest
in Animal Science. The College of Agriculture’s Animal Science
Department will be hosting a Livestock Judging camp in the month of
June for any students interested in building their knowledge of evaluating
market and breeding animals, including beef, swine, sheep and goats.
This camp focuses on selecting principles, oral reasons, live market
animal grading and breeding animal performance data. Students will have
the opportunity to learn from the best! This year’s instructors
include members of the 2003, 2006, and 2007 TAMU Livestock Judging Teams,
and members of the Texas A&M faculty and staff. Registration deadline:
